The Benefits of Remote Service
Secure access to the machine network takes place through an encrypted VPN tunnel (virtual private network). This ensures that only authorized persons have access. Moreover, the machine network is protected by an internal firewall.
A separate switch-on and switch-off function provides the option to physically disconnect the router from the network. This means it is up to the individual customer to decide whether and when a VPN connection should be established externally.
The module is available for the following media:
a) VPN connection via WAN access (wide area network)
(via Ethernet or Wi-Fi)
(b) VPN connection via GSM mobile access (Global System for Mobile Communications)
