The large-format molds are filled fully automatically via an extruder. The extruder is also suitable for compensating mass loss during cooling in the mold using the “holding pressure” function.
The maximum product weight is 500 kg. The state of the art for this process is a variothermal process with a very large variothermally moved weight. Due to the fact that the material does not have to be melted in the mold, it is possible to work with significantly lower maximum temperatures in the mold.
This saves cycle time and energy.
