CAMX (Composites and Advanced Materials Expo) - the largest and most important trade fair for composite materials in North America - took place in San Diego, California, from September 9 to 12th, 2024.
With over 500 exhibitors, the event was a major event for industry professionals.
Particularly noteworthy was the quality of the audience, which consisted of thematically focused and well-informed trade visitors. This enabled us to hold numerous interesting and intensive discussions over the two and a half days of the trade fair. The exchange with other experts and interested parties was extremely valuable for us and opened up new perspectives.
The CAMX organizers deserve a lot of praise: the event was excellently organized and the exhibition grounds, located directly on the harbour, provided a wonderful backdrop for the trade fair.
There was a special highlight for technology enthusiasts after the end of the fair: the former aircraft carrier USS Midway, which has served as a museum ship since 2004, is just a 15-minute walk from the exhibition grounds. Visitors have the opportunity to wander around the impressive ship and even climb aboard the planes and helicopters on deck. A visit that is definitely worthwhile!
