For the development of a most innovative tool concept for press hardening which enables a metal tight hardening chamber Wickert was honoured by the Ministry of Economics (RLP), with the innovation award of 2016.
The new development enables a combination of 2 process steps, quenching and hardening of metal parts. It honours the innovative management structure as well as the powerful research and development department within the Wickert Maschinenbau GmbH.
