Sports, Good Mood, Team Spirit, and All for a Good Cause
On Thursday, May 16th, Landau's streets were buzzing again: the 9th Südpfalz Company Run captivated athletes and visitors in the evening. This year, 37 WICKERT runners set out on the 5.3 km course. The program began at 5 p.m., getting athletes and spectators in the mood at the Old Fairground. Our meeting point for participants and fans was the WICKERT tent. At half-past six, our team started, setting off from the first starting block through Landau and the Reiterwiesen.
The focus of our team was enjoying doing something good for their health. In addition to the great group feeling, the cheers from many fans and the mobile music groups provided extra motivation. Time flew by, and together our corporate athletes reached the finish line "An 44" in good time. There, thirst quenchers and refreshments awaited, with live music from the band Elliot until 10 p.m., briefly interrupted by the awards ceremony.
A total of 6,633 runners registered for the company run this year, setting a new participation record that raised a substantial amount for many good causes. For each registration, n plus sport GmbH donates one euro to local organizations and clubs as well as the official charity partner Plan International Deutschland e.V.
